Enter the URL provided into any web browser to access the DHIS2 instance. Fill in the fields with your Username and Password, then click ‘Sign In’. Please remember that both fields are case-sensitive.

  • Two-Step Authentication – This is an optional feature, it will provide a greater level of security by requesting an additional code when logging in.

  • Forgot Password – In most cases, if you forget your password, you can recover it by clicking the link and providing your username.  However, depending on your organisation's security policy, you may only be able to recover access through your Line Manager or Head of Department.

  • Language Settings – You can change the language to your personal preference from the dropdown list in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Log In - Troubleshooting

Incorrect Username or Password

  • Both Username and Password are case-sensitive, please check that both are entered correctly.

  • Check that you have not entered a wrong character by mistake, for example, the capital letter (i) ‘I' is identical to the lowercase letter (L) 'l’.

  • If the error persists, we recommend that you copy the details from the email where you were provided with the credentials and paste the values into each field.

  • Please ensure that you do not include any blank spaces at the beginning or end when copying the text.

Accessing the Sharing Settings Dashboard

Once you have logged in to your DHIS2 User Account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the App Menu (Three dots) in the top right corner.

  2. Click on the Sharing Settings App Icon.

Please Note: if you do not see the Program Configuration App icon (2), you may need to scroll down the list of options. If it is not visible, please contact your Line Manager or Technical Support.

If the Sharing Settings App is still not visible, it's likely that you don't have the Sharing Settings App Role
