User Management and Permissions
User Management and Permissions
Introduction
User account management is a key responsibility for local DHIS2 admins with system administration tasks. Managing users, user roles, and user groups ensures that users have access to relevant areas and functions of the system for data entry and analysis, while restricting access to sections of the system that are not relevant to the user’s work functions. User management is also important for system security, particularly to ensure that users to not have improper access to sensitive information (such as client data) and user accounts of departed personnel are decommissioned to prevent further access to the system.
This technical documentation should outline the key responsabilities of user management within PSI standard.
