2 - Managing Tracked Entity Attributes with the UCT

  1. Open the UCT corresponding to your Tracker Program.

  2. Go to the TEAs Tab.

  3. In this Tab you can add, edit or remove Tracked Entity Attributes in your Program. Currently, it should look something like this:

  1. Let’s add a new empty row just before the Age TEA (row 7):

  1. In cell A7 select TEA, then drag the formula in cell B6 to cell B7. Also, drag the formula in cells D6, E6 and F6 to cell D7, E7 and F7 respectively. Select the Date of Birth TEA, the end result should look something like this:

  1. You can also set the Mandatory, Searchable, Display in List and Allow Future Date settings for each TEA (just like in the PCA UI). Leaving those fields empty will select the default option of No whe importing the Template. For our newly added TEA, let’s set Yes for Mandatory and leave the other settings empty.

  1. Let’s also update the Last Name TEA to make it Mandatory. To do this, replace the No option with Yes in the Mandatory column for row 6:

  1. And finally, let’s remove the Age TEA. To do this by clicking the row number and the right click to open the Row Menu. Then select Delete to completely remove the whole row.

  1. After those changes, your file should look like this:

  1. Now is a good time to save your changes before moving on.
