  • PCA - Installing

    Please Note:

    This is a short guide on how to install the PCA for the first time in a DHIS2 server. This action requires a high access level in the server (ideally a System Administrator). If you have limited access, please contact your System Administrator to request the installation of the App.

    Method 1: Installing From the App Hub

    Navigate to the App Management from your Apps Menu (see Image 1).

    Select App Hub to display all the available apps, and search for Program Configuration (see Image 2). Then select any of the available versions (ideally the latest stable version).

    Congratulations! The PCA is now available in the DHIS2 Server.

    Method 2: Installing Manually

    Step 1: Downloading the PCA

    Refer to the Releases Page to download any version of the PCA, including the latest stable version available. It is recommended to install the latest version as it usually fixes bugs present in previous versions.

    Step 2: Installing the PCA in a DHIS2 Server

    Navigate to the App Management from the Apps Menu (see Image 4).

    Select Manual install and then click on the Upload an app to install button (see Image 5).

    This will open the File Explorer. Search for the ZIP File you downloaded in Step 1 and click Open (see Image 6).

    This will start the upload and installation process (see Image 7).

    Lastly, a notification will be displayed indicating that the app has been installed successfully (see Image 8).
