Introduction

MPHD datasets contain multiple health areas that apply selectively to each countries: each grantee has a selected number of data elements that are relevant to their implementation. These data elements are organised around multiple data sets tabs, which each contain various DE areas. Both, tabs and DE areas need to be activated for each country (Org Unit Level 3).

Each Tab and DE area has been recreated as a category option. They need to be individually edited and 'assigned' to the countries for which they apply.

Permissions: you will need to have access to the Maintenance App, and the authority to edit category options.

THIS IS A CENTRALISED ACTIVITY FOR THE MPHD CENTRAL TEAM TO EXECUTE - COUNTRIES WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO EDIT THESE CATEGORIES (Controlled by DHIS2 sharing - shared with MPHD Global Admin)

How to use enable Data Set Tabs / Data Element areas for each country.

Please login using your credentials to PSI's DHIS2 production server.

1. To get started, please go to Maintenance App - Category - Category Option.

1. Enter a search criteria using any of the following filter patterns

The list should be organised by Tab and DE areas, listing first the tab itself, which you can identify by the string "00" on its name. All other options ("10", "20", "30", and so on) represent the DE areas on that tab, in order.

1. Select the Category Option (tab or DE area) that you would like to edit.

2. Select the Countries you would like this particular tab or field to appear.

For those countries that are checking, all descendant Org Unit (district or facilities) will render the relevant Tab/ DE Area. YOU DO NOT need to select individual Organisation Unit at a facility or district level - just at the country level.

As an example, below an screenshots for which T_El Salvador - SV_TEST_IPC has the Facility Monthly Data Set with a very limited amount of tabs and fields as oppose to the full form.
