SNOMED CT

International Health Terminology Standards Development Organization (IHTSDO, pronounced ‘itzi-doo’) is the custodian for SNOMED CT. IHTSDO is an international not-for-profit organisation, based in London (from 1 January 2016).2 It was established in 2007, when it acquired the IP of SNOMED CT from the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
