Provider Locator
Customers increasingly use their smartphones to find nearby businesses, so having a responsive app showing locations where health services are available enhances customer accessibility to health, and encourages them to visit and adopt healthy products and behaviors.
The locator app and its related components allow users to be signposted to the locations where they can access health services and products. Using a mobile device, users can search for locations while on the go and see essential information such as address, phone number, services offered, and hours of operation. The locations are displayed either as pins on a map, or as a list. Additionally, they can also be integrated as part of a USSD or chatbot solution.
Locator 2.0 is a modernized version of PSI’s previous implementation (Locator 1.X). Besides various UX/UI enhancements, the web app is delivered as a “Library” which can be embedded into a site or web-based application, allowing all elements to be adapted to give continuity to the site's visual design.
Individual consumers can:
Engage directly using the web app, chatbot or USSD implementations to identify a health service and find facilities that offer it.
View locations as a list or on a map using the web app
Share facility details with others via messaging or social apps
Filter facilities based on other locations and service offerings.
