Adding a new
programProgram
To add a new programProgram, click the ADD PROGRAM Add Program button (1) button as shown belowin Image 1.
From the popup window (The Create New Program ), set window is displayed. Set the Program Type (*) , to Tracker Program (2)from the dropdown list (see Image 2).

1 - Basic settings
Program Type (*): Tracker Programs, Event Program or HNQIS 2.0 Programs.
Program Data Element Prefix (*): This is required to avoid conflicts with the metadata generated that is automatically generated by the PCA. Please note that the text entered must be unique in the DHIS2 serverinstance. The name you choose should be self-explanatory and related to the programProgram.
Program Name (*): Name assigned to the Program.
Program Short Name (*): Short version of the Program Name, sometimes created by replacing words with acronyms.
Program Code: Code to identify the Program, should be unique in the DHIS2 instance.
Tracked Entity Type (*: Once have you selected ): Displayed only for Tracker and HNQIS2 Programs. After selecting a Tracked Entity Type, the program Program Tracked Entity Attributes are associated to the TET will be automatically selected.

Program Appearance:
We recommend that you add a suitable Icon to the new Program, there is a wide range of icons to choose from, pick the most
relevantappropiate one and click the SELECT ICON button to
insertset it.
You can also change the colour of the
Icon from the pop-up window, as you select a colour you will see a live preview of how it looks, click off the colour paletteProgram by clicking the SELECT COLOR button. This will display a colour picker. Here you can modify the parameters or provide a hexadecimal code to select a colour, click outside of the colour picker to apply the selected colour.
infoPlease note if you do not set an Icon, PCA will display the default DHIS2 icon.
If you need to remove either the icon or the
stylingcolour, simply click the red icon next to the respective button.

Please note, : Icon settings are the same for Tracker, Event and HNQIS 2.0 programs.
ADD ICON (Button): Add an Icon that will appear on the home screen List of programs.
SELECT COLOR (Button): Apply style to the Icon with a colour.
CLOSE (Button): To exit without saving changes or creating a new Program.
SUBMIT (Button): To save changes and create a new Program click on the Submit button.
2 - Tracker Program Settings
The second section while Creating step when creating a Program is the Tracker Program Settings. Once the section is selected, the following fields will appearThis step contains the following fields are displayed:
Category combination: You can select an option from the dropdown.Filter for Tracked Entity Attributes: This field allows you to search for Tracked Entity Attributes, once you have entered the TEA name, you can choose by clicking on the TEA. The selected TEA Combination: The options available in the server are listed in a drop down field.
Tracked Entity Attributes: The selected TEAs will appear on the right side , also you can use the arrows to add and remove the TEA into the Tracker Program.
Tracked Entity Attributes: The attributes will be automatically selected based on the chosen Tracked Entity Type. Additionally, you have the flexibility to include additional Tracked Entity Attributes (TEAs)
and the available TEAs on the left side. You can either use the controls displayed on the screen or double-click any TEA to move it to the other side. Remember that you will not be able to remove TEAs associated to the selected Tracked Entity Type.
Filter for Tracked Entity Attributes: This field allows you to search for the available Tracked Entity Attributes. To ease the TEA selection, you can filter the available TEAs by using the search bar located above the available TEAs located on the left side.
3 - Tracked Entity Attributes Form
The previously selected Tracked Entity Attributes must be displayed in this section.It must be four columns for each TEAare listed in this step. Here you can rearrange the TEAs however you like. You are essentially configuring the entry form that will be displayed when enrolling a Tracked Entity Instance into the program.
For each TEA, four settings are displayed:
Display in list: The value of the selected TEA will be displayed in the Tracked Entity Instances list.
Mandatory: The TEA must be filled to complete eventproceed with the registration.
Date in future: The TEA will allow selecting a future date. This is only available for Date Value Types.
Searchable: The TEA allows to will be used as a search filter in the Tracked Entity Instances list.
Use Form Sections
The PCA offers the ability to incorporate sections for create Form Sections to group and organise the Tracked Entity Attributes (TEAs) that have been chosen within the Tracker Program Sectionsduring data entry. To create a new sectionSection, simply first activate the "Use Form Sections" switch.
Once you've established sectionscreated the Sections, you can effortlessly add TEAs by dragging and dropping the desired attributes TEAs from the Available Attributes list into the respective sectionsthe desired Section (make sure that the section is expanded to add TEAs).
Please Note: This feature is only available for Users with authority to Create Public Programs.
Adding a new
sectionSection
To add a new section, click on the “ADD NEW SECTION” Add New Section button.
A new Poppop-up will appear displaying the Name a field , Enter to enter a the Form Section Name.
Click on the “Save” Save button. After saving the Section Name, the section will appear in the create new program Create New Program screen.
Editing a
sectionSection
To edit a section name, click on the “Pencil” ✏️ icon.
A new window will appear displaying the current Section Name. If needed, you can change the new section Section Name here.
Click So submit your changes click on the “Save” Save button.
Removing a section
click Click on the "Trash" icon, and the section will be promptly removed🗑️ icon to remove a Section. The Form will be automatically updated to show reflect the currently available sectionschanges.
Changing the order
sectionsTo rearrange the order of the sections, click on the dotsof Sections
The PCA allows rearranging the Sections. To do this follow these steps:
1. Click and hold the dots located to the left of the section and drag the section to the desired position.

Drag the Section and drop it in the position where you want to place it. And that is it! The Sections are now rearranged.
Assigning a TEA to a Section
To include add a Tracked Entity Attribute (TEA) within to a Section, simply click the downward arrow icon expand the target Section and then drag the desired TEA into under the selected sectionSection heading.
Removing a TEA from a Section
To remove a Tea TEA from a sectionSection, click on the “X” ❌ icon.
The TEA should be displayed in the available attributes section Available Attributes side panel.
Saving
a Newyour Program
To save all changes, click on the SUBMIT button, you will see Submit button. The form will be closed and a green confirmation notification to confirm will be displayed indicating that the new Program has been created successfully and returned to the PCA Home screen(see Image 17).
Your new Program will appear at the top of in the List of programs Programs on the Home screen, please check that the icon and name of the Program are correct, if not you can edit them, click here for full details of how to edit Programs.
Screen. The PCA automatically filterts the list to display your Program after submitting the form.
