Testing plays a pivotal role in the Program Configuration App, aiding in the early detection and mitigation of defects, errors or bugs. This proactive approach ensures that corrective actions are taken before the App is released to the end-users, thereby averting potentially critical issues during the production stage.
To streamline our testing efforts, we have established a testing matrix specifically tailored for the PCA. This matrix is dynamic and adaptable, continuously evolving as new features are integrated into the application.
It serves a dual purpose:
Internal Testing: Test cases are methodically incorporated into the test matrix and executed in preparation for every release, thereby guaranteeing the enduring strength and dependability of the application's functionality. In the event that any test cases do fail, corrective actions must be taken, followed by a thorough validation process by the Quality Assurance team, all of which must occur prior to the release.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): In addition, the test matrix serves as the basis for performing User Acceptance Testing. This process allows users to validate if the application meets their requirements and expectations before going live, ensuring a seamless user experience.
