How to create a data verification stage

When the M&E System Assessment form has been completed.

Select again the button with a plus icon in the “Timeline Data Entry” section. This action will allow adding a new stage and then complete it.

The system will display a new pop-up. The following steps must be followed:

  1. Select data verification as program stage

  2. Select a date

  3. Save the form

The previous step will create a yellow box with the name of the current stage (Data Verification) and a light gray box with the previous stage (M&E System Assessment), both with the respective status. Under this, six sections will be displayed to respond according to each case; the six sections are:

  1. Indicator

  2. Availability and completeness

  3. Data entry - accuracy - Period 1

  4. Calculations - accuracy

  5. Timeliness

  6. Integrity, confidentiality and precision

Section: Indicator

In this section it is needed to choose which indicator will be assessed and its respective donor and project.

. If the donor and the project are not found, select the “other” option and a new blank field will be displayed for each one to type the donor and the project.

Section: Date entry - accuracy - period 1

Select the dates for starting and ending the reports. Additionally, integer number values should be typed for the three fields asked:

  • Start of reporting period.

  • Period 1 - Recount from source document.

  • Period 1 - Reported in platform MIS or DHIS2.

To add another period, select “yes” in the “Would like to add another period?” field, the new section will appear below the current section.

Section: Calculations - accuracy

This section is not needed to be filled because all the fields are calculated base on the responses given in the Data Entry section(s).

Section: Timeliness

In this section, integer number values should be typed for the three fields asked:

  • Number of expected summary reports

  • Number reports on time

  • % of reports received on time

Section: Integrity, confidentiality and precision

For this section three fields will be displayed, select from the option lists the appropriate answers.

At the end of the form are still located the three buttons with “Complete”, “Delete” and “Print form” actions, as they were in the previous stage. The operation of the buttons is the same described above.

After completing the form, the yellow box with the name and the status of the stage will turn gray and show the status “Completed”.
