Indicators serve as calculated formulas that rely on a combination of data elements, category options, constants, and a factor. They come in two forms: those with a denominator and those without. Indicators without denominators are typically calculated totals comprising multiple data elements. On the other hand, coverage indicators such as ratios and percentages consist of two formulas: one for the numerator and another for the denominator.
